In short

Why a WordPress site gets slow.

A WordPress site usually slows down from a build-up of unoptimized images, plugins and scripts that load on every page, heavy themes or page builders, missing caching and hosting that can’t keep up with traffic. There are almost always several causes at once, and measuring is the only way to know which one weighs most.

What we optimize

We fix what weighs most, in that order.

Every area is reviewed with data. If it doesn’t improve your client’s experience, it doesn’t make the list.

What we do
ImagesModern formats, the right sizes and lazy loading.
Scripts and pluginsWe remove or defer whatever doesn’t earn its place on each page.
Fonts and stylesPriority loading for what shows first.
CachingServer and site configuration.
HostingA review of capacity and configuration; if switching makes sense, we explain why.
ThemeFinding heavy code, and the alternatives.

How we work

Measure, fix, measure again.

Every change is tested before it goes live and compared against the initial measurement.

  1. We measure Lab data and, when available, data from real visits.
  2. We prioritize By impact and by effort.
  3. We fix With testing before each change goes live.
  4. We verify We measure again and show you the difference.

Questions we often hear.

Is my hosting the problem?

Sometimes, but not always. We measure before recommending a change.

Will you get a 100 on PageSpeed?

The lab score is a guide, but what matters is your visitors’ real experience. We work to get your Core Web Vitals into the “good” range.

Do we have to rebuild the site?

In many cases the current site can be optimized. If the theme or page builder is the main cause, we explain the options and what they cost.

Will the site get slow again?

It can, if plugins or heavy images pile up. Website maintenance and support includes preventive performance upkeep: regular reviews and minor adjustments. In-depth optimization like this service is hired separately.
